Institute of Science Tokyo High School places inquiry activities at the center of learning, in which students utilize science and technology to solve issues they have set for themselves. Students study the basics of inquiry activities in Grade 10, deepen their inquiry activities in Grade 11, and complete in Grade 12. This educational program has been developed by our school as a Super Science High School (SSH) and a Super Global High School (SGH), designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The school also fosters students’ communication skills necessary as global talents through activities including collaborative research projects with overseas high schools and research presentations at international science competitions.
In addition, the school will further promote education in high school and university collaboration, taking opportunity of its relocation to the Ookayama campus in 2027.
Moreover, the school sets up university-level laboratories and facilities, and is proud to have dedicated and highly competent faculty members. Our faculty and staff are committed to ensure that all students acquire a solid foundation in advanced science and technology, and lead a fulfilling school life.
